The Iowa Department of Revenue (IDR) is seeking a Contractor to provide professional Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services for the implementation of its integrated, single-vendor tax system. The Contractor shall have expertise and documented experience in the delivery of IV&V services for programs/projects involving the monitoring, verification, and validation of large systems- and/or infrastructure-related projects. The key objectives of the selected IV&V Contractor are to:
1. Work proactively with the system implementation Vendor and the Agency Program Management team
2. Identify potential risks associated with all phases of the Program
3. Verify that Vendor deliverables and milestones meet contractual requirements
4. Validate final Vendor work products
